On May 28, 2011 Donetsk English Speaking Club on the basis of the WOA center had a very interesting meeting with our guest from Great Britain Dick Pitt. Approximately 20 years ago Dick has visited Donetsk to teach Mathematics in the Donetsk State University. Being simultaneously a sociologist, recently he has written the book “The Tangled Brain” analyzing the society from a sociological view-point and being glad to share his ideas with the members of our club. After Dick’s presentation we have had a heated discussion of the ideas suggested in the book.
