Opening of the center:
The Donetsk window on america center was officially opened on May 15, 2002 in the Donetsk Regional Scientific Library named after N.K. Krupskaya.
The presentation of the Center was opened by the Head of the Board of Culture of the Donetsk regional state administration Stasevych V.P. who greeted the guests on the creation of the Window on America Center and thanked the Embassy of the USA for generous help.
Scott Urbom (Public Affairs Section, U.S. Embassy in Ukraine) spoke on the ways of cooperation between the USA and Ukraine.
